The cards are matte. I like the artwork. The guidebook is sufficiently informative. It is nice to have something to complement and add to the tarot readings.

Sturdy cards but limited information in booklet! Nice way to learn runes! But no room for intuition as you are stuck to the image of the card.. better buy real runes and go with the info on internet

Works well as a part of my collection

Really lovely set. Sturdy box and colour guide book with large images of each card. The cards are made of thick mat card stock so should stand up to use. The descriptions of the runes in the book are refreshingly simple and easy to interpret based on the question you are asking. There is some basic information in the book about the origin of runes but this kit focuses more on getting on and using them in the practical divination sense which makes them very accessible. I purchased these cards for £13 which is a bargin when you take into account the quality of the product. Clearly time was spent over the presentation of this set!

This is such an awesome deck. So hard to find decks with actually good artwork, the illustrator did a great job. Also, wonderfully diverse representation throughout. Added bonus is that it’s good for reading reversals. Can’t believe I haven’t heard of this deck before - highly recommend!
